Connect2’s First Birthday Dinner!

Connect2’s first birthday dinner was loaded with fun
The smiles and the warmth and the food – a ton!
We celebrated with those whose birthdays are in December, January and February.
With gifts, kind words, a game and a chance to win prizes
We schmoozed and we laughed and everyone went home with gifts of different sizes.

Although the weather gave us a scare
Those of you who came did not care.
After we sang happy birthday and had our cake, Transportation was waiting to take you home-already??!!.
It was sad to see you go as the night came to an end.
We hope to see you at our next one, our dearest friends!

Connect2 Meet, Greet and Eat. Held in the offices of New York Foundation at the Empire State Building, this event was a great opportunity for the new director, Leah Davidowitz, to meet some of the Connect2 friendly visitors and show our newest volunteers what we are about! It was a very enjoyable evening that included fun games, a video presentation and of course great food! Our volunteers got share ideas about the program, and had the wonderful experience of meeting other selfless individuals who are equally devoted to the program’s mission- lighting up the life of a Holocaust survivor.
